A. Ha!!! Ha!!! ha!!! Very funny. If you must know. there's many forms of humor. It's all around you. If you look, hear,&see. The list is endless. Humor is a form of communication that starts from light to Dark. Depends on who's on it or who's involved. You see, As we grow up, we develop our wits by our parents or people we interact with. As we get older our humor grows with us. Me, myself. I enjoy all humor. Especially (sarcastic. and humor that you can get away with it.!!!) But be very careful with it. HUMOR. like all words has a double sided blade. be careful who you aim this at. Most people can't handle humor like some others. So mind your P&Q's . Enjoy.!!! Haqpy Birthday!! lol..

What comedies have the most sophisticated humor, and which ones have the most random humor?
Q. How do you feel about comedy shows that have random and nonsensical humor?
Asked by Nero T. Pickle - Thu Sep 17 11:12:31 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Big Bang Theory has a oddly inflated sense of humor. You have to have knowledge of pop culture, as well as stereotypes, and even basic scientific conceptualization. Frasier had a great sophisticated humor. Again very well rounded with cultural references, stereotypes, laced with high brow humor. Rosanne was always a random humor type of show for me. Never sure if the physical humor, familial jabs, or some other wacky joke was going to bring me to my knees in hysterical humor. I think The Simpsons were also like that as well as Family Guy. Stewie makes jokes that hit me a few minutes later and leave me going, 'oh man did he really just do that?'. But sometimes I'm sitting there going, 'did they really need that?'.

What makes the vitreous humor in your eyeball?
Q. I am doing a report on the eye, and I need to know what cells make the virtreous humor in the eyeball, and then I need to know what nerve innervates those cells in the eye. Thanks for the help. I am not looking for the composition of the vitreous humor, rather the cells that literally make it (secrete in some form or another). I understand that is is not made of cells. I am trying to finish a report, and I have no idea where to find this information. Thanks for your help.
Asked by einstein_15650 - Mon Sep 18 20:44:53 2006 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The vitreous humor is not made up of cells; it is 99% water and the remaining 1% is mainly salts, sugars, phagocytes, and collagen fibers. The optic nerve (cranial nerve II) innervates the sensory portion of the eye. The muscles that move the eye are controlled by the oculomotor nerve (cranial nerve III), the trochlear nerve (cranial nerve IV), and the abducens nerve (cranial nerve VI).

Sense of humor, I guess I have a very sick and twisted one. How do I develop my sense of humor?
Q. I am 19 sophmore in college, and realized my sense of humor is not that great. Like people say jokes and everyone laughes but I just don't get it. And sometimes I just cannot think of funny things to say or how to react to things other people think is funny.

A. Make a mental copy of the jokes you read in YA and when you are with your friends in (real life) paste them into any situation you see fit. By the time you hit Senior year I'm sure you will have improved. I think it works like alcoholism, the first step is admitting that you have a problem, I'm proud of you little Ran for stepping out of denial.

What are some examples of literary humor is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn?
Q. Examples of irony, sattire, and other kinds of literary humor. References with chapter noted would be appreciated. I read the book up to chapter 23 like my teacher told me to. My final is coming up and I just want other people's perspectives on this topic.

A. Just look at the note from the author to the reader at the beginning. There's an easy one. Look for episodes where Huck's own understanding seems limited, but the reader's is much broader.

How can you regain sense of humor and ability to be outwardly warm/expressive after a trauma?
Q. I suffer from post traumatic stress and social anxiety. What can I do to regain my sense of humor and feel comfortable expressing myself outwardly? It feels like I haven't laughed properly for years and I have difficulty making friends because I'm so shy, withdrawn and emotionally 'shut down'. I feel I can't connect with people. :(
Asked by JaJa Moonbeam - Fri Jul 11 13:56:10 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Time. The only cure is time. But remember that any day you can open your eyes is a good day. Take baby steps. Go to a park or a beach when no one is around. Enjoy the sensations of nature. If you can manage it, go get a massage. Ask the massuese not to talk and just relax and feel the massage as something meant to feel good. Always remember that the possibility of getting back to normal is there, so just have patience and persistance. Take care.

What effect do you think cartoons with adult humor have on kids?
Q. Just curious about what impact some of these cartoons with adult and sexual humor have on kids. I think it's fairly obvious that they are geared on getting kids to watch them while attracting an adult audience as well. Is this all right in your opinion? Or is this exposing kids to adult themes too early.

Q. I dropped out of school in the 9th grade due to social anxiety. Now i am 17 years old and am looking to make some friends in college. Notice that i missed out on the 4 most important years of socializing, learning what makes people laugh how to be funny, when to be funny, Ive been told before im as funny as a wall:(. Just wondering if anyone has tips on developing a humor.

A. Just remember not to take everything so serious. Listen to people carefully but understand that somethings maybe to make people laugh and not to be hurtful or mean. You'll get the hang of it soon enough. Try watching some sitcoms. They always have some funny situations in them or try to see the funny side of them. I know with my anxiety and stuff it has been hard for me to laugh with people. Sometimes you just don't want to hear it. So take your time and listen. Keep a smile on your face. You'll make plenty of friends in collage, some you can even share some of your past with. I'm sure once you get to know them you'll fit right in. Take and never give up!

A. Go to the public library. The Reference Desk should have a copy of the Writer's Market, which lists publishers (and other venues) where writers can submit their work. The Writer's Market is a directory that is cross referenced by genre. It gives detailed info regarding submission, representation, queries, response time, rates, contact info and the like. Rather than rely on people here who have no clue, go directly to the best source of info.

Have you gotten to the R&S phase where humor leaves you dying laughing and no longer possesed by the spirit?
Q. I think I've gotten to the point where I think it's more fun to post inflammatory questions like: Should we pray for the piece of Jerusalem? Which peice? ..and this stuff wouldn't be funny if I had to explain that it was humor. Why is it that some people can't lighten up a little about this stuff? It is obviously bad enough in the real world. Can't we entertain the thought that tanks or suicide bombers won't start coming through our computer screens?

How can one develop sense of humor and be master of jokes?
Q. Looking at the behaviour and thinking of human beings, you come to realize the difference between people and the power they naturaly posses. Some people are funny and have sense of humor while others are the type that says DON'T come near me or i will bite you. Now the thing is,can someone develop that sense of humor,be witty and sponteneous?
Asked by Anti_Imperialism - Wed Jun 7 13:56:49 2006 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Learn from the masters. First and foremost, you have to be able to laugh at yourself. Get ride of pride and ego and that should be an easy task. Once you can laugh at yourself, you can make anyone laugh. You have to alter your lifestyle and not be so serious all the time. And develop a bunch of goofy saying and pull one out every so often. Here are some of mine that I collect through out the year. Feel free to use it. Fat is flavor and grease is freshness, that's why everyone loves bacon because it's fresh flavor. If early to bed, early to rise then the girl goes out with the other guys. Stuff like that. Boy, I really suck. I'm glad I'm not a comedian.

How do I include humor into a rock song?
Q. I like Tenacious D's approach to humor, but I think I'd get shot if I tried to write like that. Can somebody give me some friendly advice please? I'm a big rock fan, and that's how I try to write. Respond, Vibrate, Feedback.

How can I add some humor to my cooking project?
Q. I am doing a cooking project about miso soup and you need to use an advertising technique and I chose humor. I'm not sure how I can make a Power Point about soup funny. Ok this is kind of random but I wanted to incorporate Chuck Norris. But you don't have to. And please nothing inappropriate this is for a cooking class. Thanks for all the help. :O)

A. So Miso-Horny is out? :P Try watching Billy Banks on youtube/the Shamwow/Slapchop guy. They are inadvertently funny. Basically high energy and using the product for things that no one could ever want them for always gets a smile. There are over 4,000 things in miso soup that Chuck Norris can kill you with. (Making note of the fact that there are four ingredients in miso soup so it would be good to use this during the ingredients list, like a despite the 4 ingredients necessary Chuck Norris can...)
